Pre-Screening Measures and Questions
Prior to beginning your appointment, we will ask some health-related questions that are simply designed to help gauge your current state of health and risk of exposure to COVID-19.
There may be some additional things we ask you to do, including washing and sanitizing your hands, wearing a mask when not undergoing treatment or cleaning, and providing a temperature check. Please be reassured patient safety is and always has been a top priority.
Updated Sterilization and Disinfection Protocols
If there is one time when we are less about fun and more about the seriousness and stringent protocol, it is about giving patients peace of mind with safe dentistry. We carefully set up and break down treatment rooms, ensuring they are safe, sterile and disinfected in between each patient visit. Please know this is also occurring in our office common areas such as the reception and waiting spaces. As always, our instruments are placed in an ultrasonic cleaner followed by the autoclave for efficient sterilization. You will see that our clinical team will be wearing new masks, face shields, protective gowns and caps during your treatment.

Please note that any changes or new ways of doing things are based on the helpful guidelines set up by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the American Dental Association® and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). As things continue to change and improve, we will also have to make some adaptations to how we operate at the office. Please know that we are monitoring everything we need to be diligent and are more than happy and prepared to make updates as needed. We will be sure to let you all know first and keep you informed.
